Marika Mashburn is an Actor, Casting Director and Creative Producer, based in Chicago.

She was raised in a trailer home in the middle of a cornfield outside of Norman, Oklahoma and trained at Meadows School of the Arts at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
 

Marika is a world traveler, having visited all 50 of these United States, all 7 continents and 32 countries (so far), including a year-long stint driving ice road trucks and fronting the continent’s most famous alt-country band, Roll Cage Mary, at McMurdo Station, Antarctica.

Marika lives in a 100 year old historic Chicago bungalow with her actor-producer husband, Dennis William Grimes, in West Rogers Park. She is half-Belgian and represented by Big Mouth Talent Inc.
